Welcome to the web site of Sutton Coldfield Angling Society

SCAS was founded in the Spring of 1947 with the objective being to provide varied fishing for our members.

We control around 12 miles of river bank with excellent coarse and game fishing together with 2 lakes offering coarse fishing.

Sutton Coldfield Angling Club On the rivers you have a chance of hooking into a specimen barbel, large chub, perch, grayling and of course pike. The fishing varies between classic fly fishing on fast shallow streams to lure fishing on deep slow rivers to watching a float slowly follow the current down a long stretch of water.

The lakes offer a different experience, from standard pole and float fishing in a glorious setting to rod bending fights in a testing environment! You have  the prospect of 2lb roach, rudd, crucian carp, tench and in one lake pike to 20 lbs.

Members are also able to fish a large fishery complex offering excellent opportunities to catch carp in excess of 25lbs together with many good sized perch, large roach, bream and tench.

If your just browsing, take a look at the gallery to see some of the fish members have caught. And if you like what you see, come and join us. Take a look here for more information about our rivers and lakes.
